2.14 Warning icon does not have alternative text (H)

2.14.1 WCAG 1.1.1 (A) - Desktop

On the Monitoring Patient Information page, there is a visual signal (a standard warning icon in red colour) conveying important information to users. This icon is not provided with alternative text, so it doesn’t get announced to screen reader users.

This is important information that users need to pay attention to. Not providing this context to screen reader users might cause this information to be missed, which could have negative consequences.

2.14.2 Recommendation

Implement one of the following: - Provide alt text for the icon. - Programmatically associate the warning message with the heading element (“Weight”) for screen reader users.
